Feature Page

For the feature article, I wanted to show a completely different side of the Riviera that most people never see. Instead of the usual glamorous beaches and busy promenades, I focused on the quiet residential streets of Cap d’Antibes, where these massive old pine trees create beautiful canopies. I really liked writing about how this green landscape feels so different from the mainstream Riviera. It’s a hidden, everyday elegance that only locals truly get to experience.
For the photos, I used two separate images of the same big pine tree and embedded them right in the middle of the photo. I also have spread the picture over the two pages so they flow together and create one continuous panoramic view across both pages. I think the positioning works really well and gives the whole feature a minimalist, immersive feeling.
